These sensible standards would ensure that current, cost-effective technologies are used to provide U.S. drivers the fuel-efficient choices in cars, SUVs, minivans, and pickups they deserve.

Tell new Toyota USA President Shigeru Hayakawa that he can’t have it both ways. Either Toyota is an environmentally responsible company willing to support sensible fuel economy standards that would save Americans $25 billion each year—or it is merely another corporation willing to compromise our fiscal, environmental, and energy security for its own interests.
