The short explanation of this alert was:
The climate of Pennsylvania is changing. Unless we take strong action now, global warming could have a dramatic impact on Pennsylvania—from an increased number of extremely hot days and poor air quality to loss of valuable crops and forests. The good news is that both chambers of the Pennsylvania General Assembly are debating global warming bills. Both bills would direct the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection to develop, through a collaborative process, a Climate Change Assessment and Action Plan for Pennsylvania. The bills are expected to be voted on this week! Ask your state legislators to vote yes on this critical bills.
