The United States must act now to cut our global warming pollution if we want to avoid the most severe effects of climate change. The U.S. Senate is preparing to vote on the Lieberman-Warner Climate Security Act—a comprehensive bill with bi-partisan support and a strong framework for reducing global warming pollution. However, the Senate must act to strengthen a few elements of the bill. Please urge your senators to help improve the bill when it reaches the Senate floor this spring.
