| With oil and natural gas prices on the rise, consumers are facing high prices at the pump and a costly home heating season. Congress could provide needed relief by making our cars and trucks go farther on a gallon of gasoline and enacting other policies to save oil, reduce energy costs, and protect consumers from price gouging. Instead, the House will vote this week on an industry-wish list that would increase air pollution while doing nothing to help consumers. Please urge your representative to support the Boehlert-Markey oil saving amendment and oppose final passage of H.R. 3893, the dirty air bill.
