On Friday night November 30, the Speaker of the House announced that they will vote this coming week on an Energy Bill that includes strong standards on fuel economy and renewable electricity. This historic bill will raise fuel economy standards for the first time in 32 years, require electric utilities to obtain more power from clean, renewable sources--such as the wind and sun, and will help reduce America's global warming pollution.
