This is what California officials envisioned with the Zero Emission Vehicles (ZEV) program—a future of vehicles powered by electricity. Now a California Air Resources Board (CARB) proposal could significantly weaken the ZEV program, making it more difficult for California to meet its goal of cutting global warming pollution by 80 percent by 2050. Please write today and tell CARB we need a strong ZEV program to meet California's goals.
