In recent months the contentious nomination of John R. Bolton to represent the U.S. at the United Nations has made headlines across the country. Thanks in part to your activism, Bolton's nomination is coming under intense scrutiny in Congress. After controversial hearings before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, the nomination was sent to the full Senate. This crucial vote will come to the Senate floor any day now. Your senators are expected to cast deciding votes. At a time when the U.S. urgently needs to renew friendships and alliances abroad, Bolton is the wrong choice given his consistent history of antagonism towards international institutions and agreements. Please urge your senators to vote No on Bolton.
