California Needs Clean Cars!
Did you know that the cars and trucks Californians drive produce more global warming pollution than any other source in the state? The California Air Resources Board (CARB) is currently planning on how best to carry out the landmark Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006 (AB 32). Please tell CARB to make sure their plan includes a Clean Car Discount program. The program will dramatically reduce global warming pollution from California cars and trucks by providing rebates on the purchase of cleaner new vehicles—funded by surcharges on the purchase of new gas-guzzling vehicles.
We strongly urge you to make your letter personal by adding in your own thoughts and concerns. Every letter makes a difference, but customized letters have the greatest impact.
