Several leading scientists and economists are asking their U.S.-based colleagues to sign a statement, which calls for policies that will ensure swift and deep reductions in U.S. emissions of heat-trapping gases. This compelling statement from scientific and economic experts all around the country will provide a strong scientific and economic foundation for critical state and national climate policies at a decisive time in the national policy process.

The U.S. Scientists and Economists' Call for Swift and Deep Cuts in Greenhouse Gas Emissions is open to Ph.D. or doctoral candidate professionals with expertise relevant to our understanding of the scientific and economic dimensions of climate change, its impacts and solutions.
